On May 25, 2016, WEHT in Evansville, IN covered Telmate’s new video visit program with The Parenting Time Center and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office. Kids with parents in jail are known to have difficulties, but they’ll soon have an easier way to communicate with their parents. The Parenting Time Center and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office are teaming up for a new video visit program. They will soon have a new video chat system for children with parents in jail. The program is the first of its kind. Visits will take place in partnership with the sheriff’s office and Telmate.
