ACA’s thought-provoking conference offers multiple ways to network with corrections industry professionals and get a sneak peek at emerging corrections technology. As part of the conference Telmate will be showcasing its core products, along with the Telmate Tablet and Telmate Guardian, the company’s latest innovative mobile technology products released this year.

Telmate’s core products are an inmate phone system, video visits, wireless inmate tablets, end-to-end cash management system and custom corrections-grade hardware. And bundled free with Telmate’s SmartJail Solution is Telmate Investigator and Telmate Verified, Telmate’s proprietary investigator tools and automated identity system that gives investigators and facility staff unprecedented data link analysis edge, telling them who inmates are connecting with.

A secure handheld device, the Telmate Tablet is part of Telmate’s SmartJail solution that gives inmates a wireless access point to communications, education and entertainment software services, such as photos and messages from friends and family as well as access to approved news, music and reentry content. The new tablets will be featured at the company’s booth and attendees can experience tablet features by test driving or viewing them on the large 42-inch replica display at Telmate’s booth.

Also available to experience on a larger than life screen will be Telmate Guardian, Telmate’s new smartphone-based GPM monitoring solution for community corrections. The free app is compatible with both Android and Apple smartphones and requires no new hardware or equipment for case managers and enrollees, making it a low cost, robust, and easy-to-use monitoring solution.

Guardian offers case managers real-time monitoring, reports, and check-in controls, along with features like voice and facial detection, and geo zones, making it simple for case managers to increase supervision coverage of enrollees, while reducing hardware headaches. Guardian’s innovative check-in solution brings an unmatched human element to supervision as case managers can see and hear the enrollee’s emotional state.

“Telmate is proud to be a thought leader in mobile corrections grade technology by developing products that help empower facilities and case managers to work smarter, not harder,” said Jeff Hansen, Telmate’s Chief Marketing Officer.
