A company that provides inmate communications for Calhoun County jail staff honors a local hero, today. Sheriff Larry Amerson received Telmate’s Local Hero of the Month award for November. Telmate Spokesperson Greg Bartlett says Amerson has really taken on the technology and improved the conditions for the jail inmates.Telmate provides the technology for the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
