Jail receives $50,000 in technology upgrades at no cost to county (Grayson Journal Enquirer)

To say I’m excited about this technology for Carter County would be an enormous understatement, said Jailer R.W. Boggs.

“Jailtracker is something many other jails in the area have and Carter County has tried to get but we could not hurdle the $50,000 price tag.”

Boggs says he leveraged the collaboration between Jailtracker and Telmate to become the state’s main jail information technology sources and, as a result, received the technology systems at no cost for the county.
