Telmate Solution Provides Inmate Telephone Platform for all ICE & Department of Homeland Security
February 2010 – Telmate is now the calling and customer service solution of choice for all Department of Homeland Security and all U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) primary facilities. The contract includes 18 ICE facilities in 11 States, comprising more than 18,000 Detainees and over 1,100 phones. The software customization, software integration, hardware installation, and training was completed in less than 12 weeks. Additionally, we are in process of installing services to an additional 6,000 detainees throughout the US. Telmate completes more than 1 million calls per month at ICE facilities.
